National Ride to Work Day takes place every year on the third Monday in June. Ride to Work Day is all about showing the positive side of motorcycling and the benefits it brings to society while raising awareness of motorcycling in your workplace and among the general public.
The RidetoWork.eu web site contains all the details you need whether you’re a rider, dealer, employer or simply interested in taking up riding a motorcycle, scooter or moped. We hope you find it useful.
Unlike many events, Ride to Work day is not a fundraiser, and there are no major organised ride outs. The event works because individual riders make a conscious effort to ride to work on the day, either on their own or in small groups.
Of course, not everyone has “work” to ride to, so some riders organise informal meet-ups for breakfast or a cuppa instead and that’s great because it’s all extra bikes on the road and a bit of fun while showing the positive side of motorcycling, which are the only real aims of the event.
By putting all of the resources, information, and support in one place under one banner we aim to grow the involvement in Ride to Work Day in Ireland and promote the positive aspects of motorcycling.
This web site is that place and www.ridetowork.eu will be the platform on which we grow and develop this project in collaboration with our supporters in industry, government and media but most importantly with you.
MAG Ireland volunteers will be taking the lead in this project and we welcome your support to make it something all Irish riders can be proud of.
